The Lunch Box - by Odelette
Once, there was a gorgeous girl. Her name was Odie. Since her dad was king, they were happy! Until the first day of school, which was when things went ALL wrong.
It all started when she was walking peacefully to school, she was half an inch off of school property, when a long string with a hook snatched her lunchbox! "Hey!" she yelled, fiercly. "That was 1,000 dollar", she stopped when she looked up. It was a string tied to a branch of a cypress tree! She tried to get it down, but she was too small. That was it. 1,000 dollars wasted. She walked sluggishly into the classroom.
"Today, for the first day of school, we will have lunch at the picnic tables." explained the teacher. They worked trough reading, and it was finally lunch! "I don't have anything to eat." Odie said to her friend, Maelin. "OK." Maelin replied carelessly.
Maelin wasn't a people person. She didn't understand people like Odie.
"Do you have anything you don't want?" asked Odie.
"Just a shrimp. Here." replied Maelin.
"Lunchtime's over class! Pack up ypur things and let's go!" Yelled the teacher. Odie believed a title for this lunch would be, The Shortest Lunch Ever.
When it was time for math, Odie tried to get her mind. What she needed to think of was who tied the string up there. Wait, why was she thinking about that? Oh well. It was social studies time. She had to put facts about the worlds tallest skyscraper into her mind.
After school, as always, her mom wanted to go to Walmart and buy shoes. They went to the right side of Walmart, the left side, when they heard lightning. "Let's go before it rains!" Her mom said.
When they got home, Odie had to write a story for her homework. She rode her bike to Micheals, to get more pencils in the wet, soaking rain. When she got home, she took a bath, then said hi to her dog. Her dog, Theo, went wild, smelling lavender soap. She hear a knock on the door. It was Maelin, holding her lunchbox!
"Here. I know Vincent did it. The string said his name on it." Maelin said.
"Thanks! " Said Odie. She was glad to receive her lunchbox. Maelin got on her bicycle.
"I added a little shrimp in there too! " She shouted.

Say, Wildthing!
This is a picture of everyone when we went on the Wildthing. You remember? The jet boat. We first watched the kids go ziplining, then we went on the Wildthing. We loved it so much, that in almost every picture we took after that, we said, " Wildthing! ", even on the Duck! We had so much fun on that jet boat! When we were done, all of us were soaking wet! The driver even did this spin that he called, " The Rodeo spin ", but my favorite thing he did with the boat was when he made the boat lean forward... and.... WOOSH! A wave of water came pouring on us! Luckily, I was sitting in the third row, which was the row that get's the most wet! I love that boat! :) Posted by Odelette ( A.K.A Travel girl )

Wisconsin Dells
This is me and the people who came on the road trip. We went on a boat called, "Dells Army Ducks". It showed a lot of interesting stuff and islands stuff like that. But it seemed like everybody's favorite part was the quackers they gave to the children. Well, not EVERYBODY. Erika thought the most exciting part was Suicide Hill. It was a Hill that the boat went down and splashed into the water. Because the duck was a land & water boat.
We also went on a boat called, "The Wild Thing!". Well, everybody's favorite part was that boat. We got wet and we got cooled by the cold water. This boat was a jet boat and was very fun & fast! Where might we go on the next family reunion? :)

Trip to Chicago!
This is in Ripley's Believe it or not, Chicago! These dinosaurs were scary! |
It all started when my mom asked me if i wanted to go with my friends to Chicago, and I said yes. We packed all of my stuff and then we slept. The next day I went with my Aunt, Tita Jocelyn, as I call her, to Hard Rock Hotel. First we visited her friend and then we went swimming at a huge pool and then my mom and dad picked me up. I said bye to Tita Jocelyn then we left.
Then we went to my mom's friend's house and then we stacked books there and ate dinner. We stayed there until 11:50 and then we went to my friend Ate Bea's house then my mom and dad left me there because they couldn't come with me. So then the next day, me and Ate Bea and her parents went to pick up Kuya Chris's family. His older Brother's name was Kuya Carlo.
Then, we took off! We first started in Miami, got to Orlando, then went to Alabama, then Mississippi, then stopped at Tennessee. The next day we rode to Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, then stopped at Wisconsin with our friends Ate Cookie and Ate Tina. Then we went to downtown Chicago and saw the Sears Tower! The on our way back to Miami, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and slept in Tennessee. Then we went to Atlanta, Georgia, and came back to Miami. What a trip!!!! :)

Happy Earth Day
Today is mother Earth's day. Let us all celebrate by walking outside and pick up all the trash that we see. It is so nice and beautiful to exercise while cleaning our environment.
